Oct. 22 karaoke fundraiser/gathering

WHAT: Unleash your inner pop diva, rapper or rock star!

Show off your singing skills in University City and party with the Asian American Journalists Association Philadelphia chapter. The event will help support the AAJA-Philly general fund, as well as future activities and programs.

WHEN:  Saturday, Oct. 22, 4 to 6 p.m. The event will take place after the Philadelphia Daily News interview technique workshop with Pulitzer Prize winning reporters Barbara Laker and Wendy Ruderman. http://bit.ly/qHPk9j

COST: $5 for students with valid ID, $10 for other attendees, pay at door.

TRAVEL AND PARKING: The restaurant is located at Chestnut Street by N. 36th St, within walking distance of the 30th Street train station. Street parking is available. There is also a discount on parking inside the Sheraton University City Hotel parking lot with restaurant validation.
