What: We will be having a mentorship/chapter potluck for mentors, mentees, general chapter members, and new friends. All are welcome to bring a dish, mingle, and catch-up.
Where: 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at board member Yowei Shaw’s house in West Philadelphia
Why: We will have a chapter meeting to discuss our:
- May 19 Media Access Workshop
- August UNITY convention in Las Vegas
- John Curley Scholarship Fund to help pay for one member’s way to the convention
- Plus, Denise Nakano, NBC10 weekend anchor/reporter, has agreed to give makeup/hair/appearance tips to people interested in getting “camera ready.”
