Voice of Philadelphia helps high-school “pushouts”

Murali Balaji, co-founder of the Voice of Philadelphia and former AAJA-Philly president, is helping to give a voice to young people who say they have been pushed out of Philadelphia public schools. He is teaching media literacy skills to these so-called “pushouts” by helping them develop their writing, audio and video-production skills.
