Looking for a breathtaking, healthy, and fun way to welcome the spring? Join your fellow AAJA Philly members as we run (or walk!) beneath the cherry blossom trees for the annual Cherry Blossom 5K. The event is part of a series of cultural activities, culminating in Sakura Sunday at Fairmount Park.
When: Sunday, April 10th, 2011. Check-in at 7am; race begins at 8am.
Where: The race begins near the Please Touch Museum (4231 Avenue of the Republic), Fairmount Park, Philadelphia
Why: Spend some time getting to know fellow members of AAJA Philadelphia. Plus, proceeds of this run benefit the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia Community Tree Planting Project.
How Much: $25 if you register by April 7th, 2011
